When it comes to the iOS 11 update, we must be clear on one aspect: not all the existing iPhone and iPads will be eligible for upgrading to the new OS. This brings us to the versions of Apple’s flagship portable devices which are actually capable of being upgraded to the newer version of the OS. For the sake of the reader, we have compiled this list of all of the compatible iOS 11 devices.
iOS 11 Update: A Few Points That You Should Know
In a nutshell, not all of the existing devices will support the new iOS 11. For one, this OS is supportive of only 64-bit apps and is based on that formula. The new OS will also have a litany of other great features, including a new dark mode. This is the Apple equivalent of the night mode which has already migrated to many other comparable operating platforms. Previously, only an option called the Classic Invert was found, which was not the true dark mode. Instead, it was a poor imitation.
Not the iOS 11, however. It has a blitzkrieg of new features. Of them is the new Smart Invert feature, something that is totally new. It is also smart as it transforms the bright areas of the display into darkened areas, instead of the Classic Invert feature. In that feature, the colors were only inverted to their natural complementary colors, that was all.

Note: The old Apple iPhone 5c will not be able to upgrade to the new operating system. Up until now, the iPhone 5c had been a prized possession of many users. However, it is incapable of supporting any 64-bit apps. Instead, it will only support 32-bit applications. So, in case you are using an Apple iPhone 5c, you must now switch to a newer device or stick to the 5c and Apple iOS 10.
